What to Expect The retreat will be held in Noble Silence wherever possible, starting after dinner on the Friday evening at 19:30 and ending on Wednesday morning. This will create a sacred space for deep transformaional work. To achieve this talking will be kept to a minimum and outside stimuli will be reduced wherever possible. This will create a foundation for doing deep transformational work. The broad tenets can be divided into the following parts:
1: YOGA ASANA 2: PRANAYAMA (breathing exercises to facilitate the control of energy within the body) 3: MINDFULNESS MEDITATION 4: YOGA PHILOSOPHY - Bhagavad Gita - Yoga Sutras of Patanjali
The above is just an outline, yoga nidra, mantra work and other yoga modalities may be used on the retreat as Peter feels appropriate.
The Retreat will include a walk in the forest and also some relaxation time every day where there will be time to take a sauna/massage. The asana practice can include any of the following at the discretion of Peter; Sivananda Yoga, Chakra sequence, Hatha, Kundalini, Restorative and Sukshma Vyayama (7 day program) practice in the forest. Sukshma Vyayama is an ancient yogic practice that was performed in the forest standing up.
